Rams Clinch State Playoff Bid with Victory over South Gwinnett

Lady Flag Rams Set to Play Final Region Games at Home

The Lady Rams will play in their final region games today at home. The game times will be as followed. Morgan Co. v. Rockdale 4:30 Newton v. Rockdale 5:30 Newton v. Walnut Grove 6:30pm Tickets can be purchased now on GoFan.

Lady Rams Flag Team beat Winder 6-0

The Lady Rams defeated Winder last night in a hard fought victory 6-0.  The win gives the Lady Rams their second win in region play.  The next games will be at home on Tuesday 11/24 v. Walnut Grove and Rockdale.  Go Rams!

Ashton Hagans Signs With Minnesota Timberwolves

Congratulations to our former Ram and “Mr. Basketball” Georgia Player of the Year, Ashton Hagans as he has signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves as an undrafted free agent.  Ashton who played point guard for the Kentucky Wildcats and the SEC defensive player of the year will begin his new NBA journey this upcoming season.

Basketball Scrimmage v. Sandy Creek Cancelled

Unfortunately our scrimmage vs Sandy Creek has been cancelled. ALL Tickets Purchased will be refunded through GOFAN.COM. The season opener will be at Morgan County SHOWCASE this Saturday. More details this afternoon.

South Gwinnett v. Newton Homecoming Game Information

Due to the NCSS Covid-19 policy we are selling tickets at a limited capacity at Sharp Stadium.  As a reminder Newton is a cashless school and we will no longer except cash for tickets sales. We will only take mobile tickets and card reader purchases at the gate.  All general admission tickets will be $10.

Lady Rams Named to All Region Team

On Saturday, the All Region team was announced for region 4-AAAAAAA with several of our lady Rams representing this years team.  Congratulations goes out to  Hayden Pearson, Ty’Liyah Hardeman, Kyla Stroud, and Aulora Edwards for making the All Region team. Katelyn Anglin, D’myia Jackson, and Kaitlyn Neely were Honorable Mention.  Go Rams!

2020-21 Newton Basketball Season Starts with a scrimmage v. Sandy Creek

Tuesdays scheduled home scrimmage against Sandy Creek has been changed to  Wednesday 11/8.  The scrimmage will mark the beginning of the 2020-21 Newton Rams Basketball season.  The Girls will start at 5pm followed by the boys at 6:30pm.  The tickets are now on sale on GoFan. With limited seating capacity the tickets will sell fast.
